Sevilla, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Luis Fabiano scored two goals and Frederic Kanoute added the match-winner to lead Sevilla to a 3-2 win over Villarreal on Sunday at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Spain's La Liga. Villarreal's Robert Pires and David Fuster scored on each side of halftime to erase Fabiano's ninth-minute opener, but the Sevilla striker sealed his double in the 61st and Kanoute followed with the winner just five minutes later. Sevilla moved into third and sits just four points off the pace of Barcelona, and three points behind Real Madrid. Villarreal, which is trying to overcome a horrible start in La Liga, sits 16th after 10 weeks. Valencia remained on Sevilla's heels after its 3-1 victory over Real Zaragoza. Mata scored the opener in the 17th, and David Villa (40th) and Pablo (42nd), all but sealed the three points before halftime. Also Sunday, Mate Bilic scored in the third minute and Sporting Gijon held on for a 1-0 win over Espanyol, Carlos Gurpegui and Andoni Iraola scored to lead Athletic Bilbao to a 2-0 win over Racing, Andoni Iraola handed Almeria a quick lead on an own goal and Kalu Uche sealed a 2-0 win over Osasuna and Valladolid tied Xerez 0-0.
