Bergamo, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Mauro Camoranesi scored two first-half goals as Juventus rolled to a 5-2 win over Atalanta at the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia on Saturday.
Camoranesi scored two goals in two minutes to give Juve a 2-0 halftime lead, but Valdes pulled a goal back for Atalanta in the 51st minute. Felipe Melo restored the two-goal lead four minutes later for Juve, but the home side once again had an answer with Fabio Ceravolo scoring 20 minutes from time.
However, a late surge from the visitors put the result away as Diego and David Trezeguet each scored in the last six minutes.
Juve is now four points back of leaders Inter Milan, which hosts Roma on Sunday, while Atalanta is 18th and just three points from the bottom.
It took 36 minutes for the opening goal to arrive, and it came from a short cross by Fabio Grosso to the head of Camoranesi, who nodded the ball inside the near post.
The Italy international then tallied again one minute later when a low cross from Grosso was cleared only as far as Camoranesi at the edge of the box. He collected the ball and then ripped a shot past goalkeeper Andrea Consigli to make it a 2-0 game.
Atalanta pulled to within a goal shortly after the restart when Tiberio Guarente played Valdes in behind the Juve defense and he drove a shot underneath goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
It took just four minutes for the visitors to answer back as Melo fired a 30- yard rocket into the upper left corner, but once again, Atalanta responded with Ceravolo beating Grosso down the right wing and curling a shot brilliantly inside the far post.
The match was still up for grabs as the game entered the final 10 minutes, but a deflected cross from Camoranesi fell to the feet of Diego, and he rolled the ball into the far corner.
Trezeguet then capped the scoring three minutes from time as he pounced on a loose ball inside the box for his sixth goal of the season.
The other match on Saturday saw Napoli fail to move into the top four as they were held to a 0-0 draw by second-from-the-bottom Catania.
