London, England (My Sportsbook) - The top two teams in the Premiership will tangle at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as second-placed Manchester United travels to west London to face leaders Chelsea.
The Blues have a two-point lead on United through 11 games, and both teams are coming off of draws in the Champions League that saw them qualify for the knockout round, but Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti feels that his team is well prepared for the defending champions on Sunday.
"It is a very interesting match and we are happy to play this team in this moment because I think we are doing very well," Ancelotti said. "We are in good condition, we have a very good mental attitude and we are happy to play this game on Sunday. I think we can do our best at this moment."
One of the reasons why Ancelotti feels confident is that his team is in good health at the moment, with only defender Jose Bosingwa set to miss out with a knee injury on Sunday.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will be without center-back Rio Ferdinand as well as midfielder Ji-sung Park, while Gary Neville is out through suspension.
However the news is better concerning Nemanja Vidic and Dimitar Berbatov, who are both expected back from injury for Sunday's game.
Vidic has recovered from a calf injury, while Berbatov should return to the lineup after sitting out Tuesday's Champions League draw against CSKA Moscow with a slight knock.
A win for either side would be a big step going forward, but Ferguson doesn't view the contest as a potential title decider.
"It doesn't come into my thinking that it is a league decider," Ferguson said. "But it could be an important game. Towards the end of the season, you might think, 'I'm glad we got a result at Chelsea'. But it's difficult to pinpoint the importance of Sunday in relation to where we'll be in May."
While Sunday may not decide the title, it is still a game that Ferguson would love to win based on United's recent run of poor results at Stamford Bridge, which includes just one win in the last 10 visits.
"We would like to improve our record there," said the boss. "It's not been that great in the last few years. We've had a couple of draws but nothing more than that. We hope to improve on that. It's strange, we used to have a terrific record at Stamford Bridge, but in the last few years we've let it slip. We have to get our act together. But the players realize it's a big game and that their performance is going to be important."
Arsenal is only three points back of United with a game in hand, and they will try to keep the pressure on the top two with a win at Wolverhampton, while fourth-placed Manchester City hosts Burnley.
Fifth-placed Tottenham has lost its last two games and tries to rebound with a win over Sunderland, Aston Villa entertains Bolton, Blackburn and Portsmouth square off at Ewood Park in a bottom-three clash, while Stoke City invades Hull City, Everton travels to West Ham, Wigan entertains Fulham and Liverpool rounds out the weekend with a home contest against Birmingham on Monday.
