Springfield, MA (My Sportsbook) - Abbotsford Heat goaltender Leland Irving has been named the American Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 1. Irving won each of his three starts on the week and stopped 81 of 83 shots for a 0.65 goals-against-average and a .976 save percentage. The 21-year-old is now 6-3-1 in 11 appearances with a 2.20 goals-against-average and a .925 save percentage along with one shutout this season. |
