Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - Chris Osgood stopped all 29 shots he faced to post his first shutout of the season and lead Detroit over Boston, 2-0, at Joe Louis Arena. Henrik Zetterberg and Tomas Holmstrom provided goals for the Red Wings, winners in three of their last four games. Tim Thomas made 24 saves in defeat for the Bruins, who have dropped two in a row without scoring a goal. On Sunday, Thomas allowed just one score but was outdueled by Henrik Lundqvist of the Rangers in a 1-0 setback.

Final Score: Tampa Bay 2, Toronto 1 (OT)

Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Ryan Malone scored the game-winning goal 2:21 into overtime to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre. Vinny Lecavalier also scored for the Lightning, who halted a two-game skid and earned their first road win of the season. Antero Niittymaki was stellar with 40 saves in the winning effort. Ian White tallied the lone goal for the Maple Leafs, who remained winless at home in six tries (0-4-2) in 2009-10.

Final Score: Atlanta 5, Montreal 4

Montreal, QC (My Sportsbook) - Colby Armstrong's goal late in the third period and 34 saves from Ondrej Pavelec staked Atlanta to a 5-4 victory over Montreal at Bell Centre. Rich Peverley recorded a goal and two assists for the Thrashers, who have won two in a row, both on the road, since losing four straight. Bryan Little added a goal and one helper, while Pavel Kubina notched his first goal of the season for Atlanta. Brian Gionta scored twice with Mike Cammalleri and Tomas Plekanec tallying once for the Canadiens, whose rally from a 3-1 deficit fell short for a third loss in four games. Carey Price allowed all five goals on just 30 shots.

Final Score: Vancouver 4, NY Rangers 1

Vancouver, BC (My Sportsbook) - Mikael Samuelson scored twice and Ryan Kesler tallied three assists in Vancouver's 4-1 victory over the New York Rangers in a fiery contest from General Motors Place. The game featured five misconduct penalties as a result of a scrum early in the third period. A total of 19 penalties were called in the game. Henrik Sedin also scored for Vancouver and Rick Rypien had the go-ahead tally in the third period as the Canucks won for the sixth time in eight games. Andrew Raycroft made 22 saves for the victory. Chris Higgins scored and Henrik Lundqvist made 26 saves for the Rangers, who have dropped six of their last eight contests.

Final Score: Pittsburgh 4, Anaheim 3

Anaheim, CA (My Sportsbook) - Pascal Dupuis netted the game-winning goal midway through the third period, as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Anaheim Ducks, 4-3, at Honda Center. Alex Goligoski, Michael Rupp and Kris Letang also scored for the Penguins, who have won three of their last four games. Pittsburgh also improved its 2009-10 road record to a perfect 7-0-0. Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 saves in the win. Corey Perry scored twice for the struggling Ducks, who are now 1-5-1 in their last seven games overall. Saku Koivu also lit the lamp in the loss. Anaheim goaltender Jonas Hiller allowed four goals on 27 shots. Jean-Sebastien Giguere remains day-to-day with a nagging groin injury.
