Gelsenkirchen, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Schalke's ongoing financial problems may force it to sell up to eight players, according to reports. German newspaper Bild have said that Kevin Kuranyi, Ivan Rakitic, Rafinha, Albert Streit, Gerald Asamoah, Halil Altintop, Vicente Sanchez and Levan Kobiashvili could all move away from Gelsenkirchen in the January transfer window. Juventus, AC Milan and Bayern Munich have been linked with Brazilian defender Rafinha in the past, while Croatian star Rakitic has interested Juve, Inter Milan and Palermo. Kuranyi is out of contract at the end of the season while Streit, Asamoah, Altintop, Sanchez and Kobiashvili have all struggled to establish themselves in the first team this season.
