Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - CINCINNATI: On Saturday, Zach Collaros threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns in place of Tony Pike, as Cincinnati earned a 28-7 win over Syracuse in a Big East matchup at the Carrier Dome. Collaros completed 22-of-28 passes, while Armon Binns had five grabs for 138 yards a a pair of scores for Cincinnati (8-0, 4-0 Big East). The Bearcats, who were without Pike for a second straight game while he recuperates from left forearm surgery, are off to their best start since 1954. Kazeem Alli and Adrien Robinson also pulled in a touchdown catch apiece for Cincinnati, which extended its winning streak to 14-straight regular-season games dating back to last season. Up next for the Bearcats is a home game against UConn this upcoming weekend.

CONNECTICUT: Playing its first home game since the tragic death of cornerback Jasper Howard, UConn put forth a tremendous fight against visiting Rutgers. Unfortunately, the result of Saturday's matchup was a 28-24 loss. The Huskies (4-4, 1-3) appeared headed to victory after scoring the go-ahead touchdown with 38 seconds remaining, but the defense had an untimely lapse in pass coverage. UConn starting quarterback Cody Endres left the game with a shoulder injury midway through the first quarter and was replaced by Zack Frazer, who threw for a career-high 333 yards but was also intercepted three times. For the second straight week, UConn allowed its opponent to return the opening kickoff for a touchdown. The Huskies will certainly have their hands full this upcoming weekend, as they are set to battle an outstanding Cincinnati squad on the road.

LOUISVILLE: The Cardinals took a break from Big East Conference play this past weekend and barely knocked off Arkansas State by a 21-13 final. Darius Ashley ran for two touchdowns and the Louisville defense did the rest. Arkansas State finished with just 45 rushing yards in the clash, as the Cards turned the Red Wolves into a one-dimensional team. Bilal Powell ran for 93 yards on 17 carries for the Cardinals (3-5), and Will Stein was 20-of-39 through the air for 232 yards. The opponent for Louisville on November 7th will be West Virginia, and winning in Morgantown is no small task.

PITTSBURGH: The Panthers were the only Big East Conference team that did not play this past weekend. They will return to action on November 7th with a home game against Syracuse. In the most recent outing for Pitt, Bill Stull passed for 245 yards with a pair of touchdowns, as the squad routed South Florida, 41-14, back on October 24th. Stull completed 18-of-25 throws and was picked once, while freshman Dion Lewis rushed for 111 yards on 23 touches with two scores. Jonathan Baldwin hauled in six passes for 144 yards and a TD for Pittsburgh (7-1, 4-0 Big East), which has won four straight since dropping a 38-31 decision to North Carolina State and is now 7-1 for the first time since 1982.

RUTGERS: Tom Savage connected with Tim Brown for an 81-yard touchdown pass with 22 seconds to play on Saturday, as Rutgers rallied for an improbable 28-24 win over the Connecticut Huskies in a Big East thriller. Savage threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns for Rutgers (6-2, 1-2 Big East), while Brown finished with five catches for 162 yards and two scores. The Scarlet Knights won the game despite being outgained 481-322 in total yardage. Devin McCourty returned the opening kickoff back for a 98-yard touchdown, key to the victory. Rutgers will be idle until November 12th when it will play host to USF.

SOUTH FLORIDA: Freshman B.J. Daniels racked up 336 yards of offense and threw for three touchdowns, leading South Florida to a 30-19 victory over a nationally-ranked West Virginia squad on Friday. Daniels, who took over as the starting quarterback when Matt Grothe suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in a September 19 game against Charleston Southern, completed 13-of-26 passes for 232 yards and also rushed for 104 yards on 14 carries. Carlton Mitchell had five receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown for the Bulls (6-2, 2-2 Big East), who snapped a two-game skid. The Bulls have plenty of time to prepare for their next contest, as they won't be in action again until a road game against Rutgers on November 12th.

SYRACUSE: The Orange were simply no match for undefeated Cincinnati on Saturday, as they fell to the Big East leader by a 28-7 final. Greg Paulus completed 12-of-17 throws for 85 yards with a TD and an interception for Syracuse (3-5, 0-3), which has dropped three of its last four decisions. Delone Carter rushed for 50 yards on 19 touches, but fumbled late in the third quarter with the Orange in the red zone. Cody Catalina had a pair of catches for 26 yards and a touchdown catch. State wideout Mike Williams returned to the field after serving a one-game suspension for violating team rules and had four catches for 34 yards. Next up for the Orange is a road clash with a strong Pittsburgh team on Saturday.

WEST VIRGINIA: The Mountaineers are undoubtedly disappointed with the result of Friday's game, a 30-19 road loss to South Florida. Jarrett Brown connected on 19-of-32 passes for 205 yards and was picked off once for the Mountaineers (6-2, 2-1), who had a four-game winning streak stopped. He also rushed for a pair of scores. WVU running back Noel Devine was held to 42 yards on 17 carries, as the elusive back was swarmed by a speedy USF defensive front all night. Devine entered the game having rushed for 912 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 6.7 yards per carry, so his ineffectiveness against the Bulls could not have been anticipated. The Mountaineers are slated to play host to Louisville this upcoming weekend.
