Montreal, QC (My Sportsbook) - Anthony Calvillo threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Montreal Alouettes to a dominating 48-13 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Calvillo completed 27-of-38 passes for Montreal (14-3), which had already clinched the best record in a league and a bye in the playoffs. Avon Cobourne added 70 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, while Damon Duval connected on all six of his field goal attempts. The 14 wins ties a franchise record.

Jamel Richardson led the team in receiving with 65 yards on eight catches, and Brian Bratton and Andrew Hawkins each had a scoring grab in the resounding win.

Michael Bishop connected on only 8-of-21 pass attempts for 145 yards and a touchdown, as Winnipeg (7-10) remained two points behind Hamilton for second place in the East Division after the Tiger-Cats won on Saturday. The Blue Bombers will play Hamilton next week for the right to go to the playoffs.

Titus Ryan had two catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in defeat.

Alexis Serna's 25-yard field goal put Winnipeg up early, but Montreal answered with the next 25 points to take control of the game.

Duval hit his first field goal from 42 yards away to tie the game with 10 1/2 minutes left in the first, and Calvillo threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Bratton three minutes later to put the Als in front.

A safety with two minutes to go put Montreal ahead, 12-3, and Duval made a 27- yard field goal at the end of the period for a 12-point lead.

With 4 1/2 minutes until halftime, Calvillo extended the lead further with a 19-yard scoring pass to Hawkins, and Duval's 34-yard field goal three minutes later made it a 25-3 game.

Serna made a 40-yard field goal before halftime to pull the Blue Bombers to within 19, and Bishop's 65-yard pass to Ryan early in the third resulted in a touchdown that further cut the deficit to 25-13.

Montreal, though, pulled away from there, as Duval made a 40-yard field goal and Larry Taylor returned a Serna missed field goal 115 yards for a touchdown and a 35-13 game.

In the final quarter, Duval hit field goals from 26 and 17 yards away, respectively, around Cobourne's 14-yard rushing touchdown.

Game Notes

The Ti-cats and Blue Bombers have split the season series, 1-1, giving the playoff tiebreaker to whomever wins next week's game...Winnipeg finished its season 3-6 on the road...Montreal went a perfect 9-0 at home this season.
