Gelsenkirchen, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Schalke's German international goalie Manuel Neuer has again reiterated that he is happy in Gelsenkirchen, amid renewed talk of interest from Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old has been linked with Bayern for some months, but Neuer has so far been certain about the fact that he is not in a hurry to make a move. "I am going to stay, this issue was a public issue already last summer. Then I also stayed on at Schalke 04," he told the Rheinische Post newspaper. "I am a Schalke player and I absolutely like being a Schalke player. I am not going to end up as part of speculation." Meanwhile, Werder Bremen are sweating on the fitness of striker Claudio Pizarro, who suffered an ankle injury in the 4-1 win over Bochum last weekend. Coach Thomas Schaaf commented: "It's a bruise and compression in the ankle and he has problems walking normally. "Selecting him for Wednesday's DFB Pokal game would not have made any sense."
