Turin, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Juventus is hoping that Wednesday's 5-1 win over Sampdoria will provide a spark that will carry the team forward for the rest of the season, and that begins with a home contest against Napoli.
Juve entered Wednesday's top-three clash two points back of Sampdoria, but they moved one point ahead of their opponents with a comfortable win that saw Amauri score twice.
"This should be the charge that launches us," Juve manager Ciro Ferrara said following the win. "It is true we came from a series of negative results and this conditioned us but we showed that we can come back and now we have to maintain this."
Juve has won its last two games in league play following a four-game winless streak, and Saturday may see the return to action of striker Alessandro Del Piero, who has returned to training after a muscle injury, while defender Martin Caceres suffered a broken nose in training and will miss out.
Napoli has moved into 12th place with eight points from its last three games, and although they have been very inconsistent so far, they did well to grab a point against AC Milan on Wednesday, scoring twice in stoppage time to earn a 2-2 draw.
AC Milan hosts Parma in a top-five clash on Saturday, while Sunday's games include leaders Inter Milan visiting 18th-placed Livorno, and third-placed Sampdoria hoping to bounce back with a win at home against Bari.
Bologna climbed out of the bottom three last weekend and they visit Roma, bottom-half sides Atalanta and Cagliari square off, Udinese and Chievo are level on 14 points and they meet up at Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, Fiorentina hosts Catania, Lazio invades Siena and Palermo entertains Genoa.
