Singapore (My Sportsbook) - Daniel Chopra fired a six-under 65 Friday to move atop the leaderboard with the second round of the Singapore Open suspended due to darkness.

Chopra completed two rounds at seven-under-par 135. Yin-Shin Chan (seven holes) and Ian Poulter (three holes) also stand at minus-seven.

The first round was completed earlier Friday. The round was delayed three hours on Thursday by storms and was delayed again on Friday before its completion.

The early wave of Friday golfers was not fully completed and the afternoon wave was not completely on the course when action was halted for the day by darkness. The second round will resume Saturday at 7:40 a.m. local time.

Wen-Chong Liang and Andrew Dodt both shot four-under 68 to complete two rounds at five-under-par 137. Kodai Ichihara was two-under through six holes and also stood at minus-five.

Chopra played the back nine first on Friday. He posted birdies on the 11th and 14th to move to minus-three.

The Swede birdied the 17th and 18th, both for the second day in a row. Around the turn on Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, Chopra parred his first five holes.

Chopra converted a birdie chance on the sixth and came right back with a birdie on No. 7 to get to seven-under. He parred the last two.

Chan, who trailed Poulter by a stroke after the first round, birdied his first two holes and birdied No. 6. Play was called for the day after he parred the seventh. He is bogey-free through 25 holes.

Poulter was off to a quick start as he birdied one and two to move to minus- seven.

Scott Hend (66), Ross McGowan (69) and Gaganjeet Bhullar (67) have completed 36 holes at minus-four. Ernie Els was also minus-four. He was just three holes into his second round and was even-par for those holes.

Among those in jeopardy of missing the 36-hole cut are Geoff Ogilvy, Thongchai Jaidee, Paul McGinley, Robert Karlsson, K.J. Choi, Michael Campbell and Thomas Bjorn.
