Bronx, NY (My Sportsbook) - The New York Yankees finalized their roster for the World Series, adding utilityman Eric Hinske and reliever Brian Bruney. Hinske, a mid-season acquisition from Pittsburgh, was dropped off the ALCS roster in favor of speedster Freddy Guzman after not appearing in the Division Series against Minnesota. In 39 games with the Yankees, Hinske batted .226 with seven home runs and 14 RBI. Hinske played for Tampa Bay in last year's Fall Classic, homering off Phillies pitcher Joe Blanton in Game 4. He also struck out against Brad Lidge for the series' final out as Philadelphia captured the title in five games. Bruney, meanwhile, has not pitched since October 2. He went 5-0 with a 3.92 earned run average in 44 contests this season. The duo is replacing Guzman and catcher Francisco Cervelli.
