Bochum, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Bochum named former Germany international Heiko Herrlich its new coach on Tuesday. Herrlich was coach of the Germany U-19 squad but was released from his deal to take over Bochum. Bochum had been led in the last five games by interim manager Frank Heinemann, who took over after Marcel Koller was fired. Herrlich, 37, had stints with Bayer Leverkusen, Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund during his playing career. He played five times for Germany, scoring one goal. Bochum signed Herrlich to a contract through June of 2012.
