Barcelona, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Seydou Keita scored a hat trick and Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a double, as Barcelona rebounded from a home loss to Rubin in the Champions League by hammering Real Zaragoza, 6-1, at the Camp Nou in La Liga on Sunday.
Russian side Rubin stunned Barcelona on Tuesday, 2-1, in the Champions League but the Spanish and Champions League winners returned to form in La Liga with another convincing victory.
Barca reclaimed first place and opened a three-point cushion on Real Madrid, which settled for a 0-0 draw against Sporting Gijon on Saturday.
Keita opened the scoring in the 24th after he was set up by Lionel Messi and headed home from the center of the area to pick out the upper-left corner.
Ibrahimovic doubled the lead in the 29th off a free kick with a blast to the top right, then turned provider in the 41st to set up Keita's second goal.
Ibrahimovic completed his double in the 56th off an assist from Keita, scoring from close range for his seventh of the season to move level atop the La Liga scoring list with Valencia's David Villa.
Jorge Lopez got Real Zaragoza on the board in the 78th, and then Messi joined the fun by adding his sixth league goal in the 80th off an assist from Andres Iniesta.
Iniesta added another assist minutes later, setting up Keita for his third of the match in the 86th. Keita completed his hat trick with a header to the left corner.
Villa, Pablo and Mata scored to lead Valencia to a 3-0 win at Almeria and into fourth place in the standings, seven back of Barca.
Villarreal snapped its season-long winless streak thanks to a 54th-minute goal from Joan Capdevila in a 2-1 victory over Malaga.
