Regina, SK (My Sportsbook) - Luca Congi made a 29-yard field goal in overtime, and James Patrick intercepted an end zone heave from Casey Printers to give Saskatchewan a 33-30 win over British Columbia.

Congi had missed a 49-yarder in the waning seconds of regulation, but drilled the eventual game-winner for the Roughriders (9-6-1), who were coming off a tie with Calgary last week. The victory moved Saskatchewan into a tie with Calgary atop the Western Division

Saskatchewan quarterback Darian Durant completed 27-of-46 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns, which included a game-tying score and two-point conversion with 1:53 left in regulation. He was also intercepted twice.

Printers threw for 339 yards and two scores on 19-of-31 passing, but his lone interception was costly for the Lions (8-8), who had a three-game win streak broken.

Michael Bumpus and Emmanuel Arceneaux each had a TD reception for British Columbia, which trailed by six points entering the fourth quarter, but got a pair of touchdowns to take the lead.

The first came with 6:41 to play, after BC had taken over possession at the Roughriders' 52-yard line. The Lions got to the 29, and on second down Printers scrambled to his left and hurled a pass to the left side of the end zone.

Bumpus was there, double-covered, but dove to make the catch, and the extra point gave BC a 23-22 lead.

After a series of punts, the Roughriders took over with 3:52 to play at their own 33. But on the second play of that drive, Durant telegraphed a pass and Barron Miles jumped the route for the interception, then returned it 42 yards for the score and a 30-22 Lions lead with 3:16 remaining.

However, Saskatchewan had an immediate answer. Durant completed five consecutive passes, the last a 29-yard touchdown to Johnny Quinn at the edge of the end zone. He then threaded a pass to Chris Getzlaf for a two-point conversion, tying the game with 1:53 to play.

The Lions then had to punt, and with time running down the Roughriders began to drive. They reached the BC 42 for a third down with 17 seconds left, but Congi's 49-yard field goal attempt hit the left upright, sending the game into overtime.

Saskatchewan had the ball first and got to the 22, where Durant appeared to complete a touchdown pass to Jason Clermont. But upon review, the TD call was overturned, as replays showed the ball hit the ground as Clermont lunged to make the catch. Congi eventually drilled a 29-yarder on 3rd-and-10 to put the Riders ahead.

The Lions then took over for their possession and looked like they might get the win after all, as Printers completed three consecutive passes. The third was a 13-yarder to Paris Jackson over the middle, which gave British Columbia a first-and-goal at the eight.

But on the next play, Printers aired a pass to the right side of the end zone, where his receiver was surrounded by two defenders. Patrick leapt to make the interception, sealing the Roughriders' win.

Paul McCallum's 27-yard field goal gave BC a 3-0 lead after one quarter of play.

But Saskatchewan took control by tallying 17 points before the break, starting with a one-yard touchdown run from Steven Jyles a little more than three minutes in. After a series of punts, Saskatchewan got the ball back at its own 50 and drove for another TD -- this time a 32-yard pass from Durant to Rob Bagg.

McCallum connected from 30 and 46 yards before the break, while Congi drilled a 49-yarder, as Saskatchewan held a 17-9 lead at halftime.

The Roughriders opened the third quarter scoring with a single, but the Lions eventually got their first TD. British Columbia took over at the Saskatchewan 34 after Bumpus returned a punt 40 yards, and on the first play of the drive Printers found Arceneaux for a touchdown, getting the Lions within 18-16.

Saskatchewan got another single and a 35-yarder from Congi before the end of the period, making it a 22-16 game.

Geroy Simon had six catches for 142 yards -- both team highs -- for BC. Arceneaux caught four passes for 68 yards...Bagg totaled eight catches for 124 yards for Saskatchewan. Wes Cates finished with 58 yards on 15 carries...The Roughriders play at Hamilton next Saturday, while the Lions host Calgary.
