Munich, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Daniel van Buyten scored in the 88th minute to help Bayern Munich down Eintracht, 2-1 on Saturday at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern controlled play in the first half but fell behind on the hour mark as Alexander Meier fired the visitors ahead. However, substitute Arjen Robben leveled the match 10 minutes later, and Van Buyten headed home the winner two minutes from time to help Bayern pick up all three points.
With the win, Bayern moves into fifth place, four points back of leaders Bayer Leverkusen, while Eintracht falls to ninth and has lost three of its last four games.
The home side was unlucky not find the net in the opening half as Miroslav Klose went close in the sixth minute before Luca Toni's header flashed just past the post.
Eintracht goalkeeper Oka Nikolov was called upon to make saves on Klose and Toni before halftime as Bayern looked likely to open the scoring at any moment, but entered the second half without a goal.
The hosts were then stunned on the hour mark when Patrick Ochs played a through ball to Meier, who smashed a first-time shot past goalkeeper Hans-Jorg Butt, giving the visitors an unlikely lead with 30 minutes to play.
However, Robben came off the bench to equalize as Mario Gomez won a scramble with Nikolov that allowed the Dutchman an easy tap in, evening the score at 1-1.
Nikolov made a good stop on Toni as Bayern pressed for the winner, but the keeper was unable to prevent Van Buyten's header from hitting the back of the net and giving Bayern all three points.
Hoffenheim is sixth after they cruised to a 3-0 win against Nurnberg, Monchengladbach and Koln played to a scoreless draw, Didier Ya Konan's first- half goal was enough for Hannover to claim a 1-0 win against Stuttgart, and Tim Hoogland scored twice in a 3-0 win for Mainz over Freiburg.
