Florham Park, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Jets wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery and Brad Smith both missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Cotchery (hamstring) and Smith (quadricep) did not participate in team drills again but continue to take part in individual drills. Both players did not play in last week's overtime loss to the Bills. "I think Jerricho's got a real shot to play," Jets head coach Rex Ryan said on the team's website after Thursday's practice. "I don't feel quite as good about Brad." Braylon Edwards (quadricep), who was injured during the setback to Buffalo, was limited in practice for a second consecutive day. "Braylon was great out there today. He's going to go," Ryan said. Cornerback Lito Sheppard (quadricep) and tackle Damien Woody (knee, foot) were held out of practice again on Thursday, while defensive end Shaun Ellis (knee) and cornerback Donald Strickland (ankle) were limited in practice for a second straight day on Thursday. The Jets play at the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
