Munich, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery, who has been sidelined for three weeks, will be out for another month with a knee injury, coach Louis van Gaal said. Ribery has suffered from a knee injury since the start of the season and Van Gaal admitted after Wednesday's 2-1 Champions League at Bordeaux the French star needs time to fully recover from the persistent problem. "We've decided to let Ribery heal completely, but that could take up to a month," Van Gaal said. Ribery, 26, will miss key upcoming league games against Schalke and Stuttgart, and the return leg against Bordeaux on Nov. 3 in Munich. Ribery will likely also miss France's World Cup qualifying playoffs against Ireland in November. Bayern will try to bounce back from its loss to Bordeaux against Eintracht on Saturday at the Allianz Arena.
