Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Omar Gaither will have surgery for a Lisfranc sprain in his foot and likely will miss the rest of the season. Gaither suffered the injury in the Eagles' 13-9 loss to Oakland this past Sunday. Head coach Andy Reid said Gaither will have surgery sometime this week and "most likely" miss the rest of the year. Gaither, in his fourth year in the NFL, has recorded 30 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks in five games this season. Will Witherspoon, who the Eagles acquired from St. Louis on Tuesday, will get the start at middle linebacker for Monday night's game against Washington.
