Florham Park, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Jets wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery and Brad Smith returned to the practice field, while wide receiver Braylon Edwards was limited in practice on Wednesday. Cotchery (hamstring) and Smith (quadricep) did not participate in team drills but did take part in individual drills on Wednesday. Both players did not play in last week's overtime loss to the Bills. Edwards (quadricep) was injured during the setback to Buffalo but is not expected to miss any time. Cornerback Lito Sheppard (quadricep) and tackle Damien Woody (knee, foot) were held out of practice on Wednesday, while defensive end Shaun Ellis (knee), linebacker Marques Murrell (head) and cornerback Donald Strickland (ankle) were limited in practice. Linebackers David Harris (wrist), Larry Izzo (hamstring) and Bryan Thomas (wrist), and wide receiver Wallace Wright (knee) all fully practiced on Wednesday.
