Orchard Park, NY (My Sportsbook) - Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards was absent from the practice field on Wednesday while he recuperates from a concussion. Edwards suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's 16-13 overtime win at the New York Jets. Facing a 3rd-and-2 at the Buffalo 43, Edwards dropped back and was sacked by Calvin Pace and David Harris. Edwards' body twisted in a weird way as he went to the ground. Edwards remained on the ground for a few minutes before being helped to the locker room by the training staff. Edwards seemed to be woozy as he slowly walked to the locker room. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over the QB duties for the Bills and will likely start against Carolina this weekend if Edwards is unable to play.
