Berea, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Browns have signed tight end Michael Gaines. Gaines was released by the Bears last week after seeing action in only one game this season. The sixth-year pro played in 16 games last year for Detroit and recorded 23 receptions for a career-best 260 yards and a score. The 29-year-old Gaines, a seventh-round draft pick by Carolina in 2004, has 79 career receptions for 810 yards and five touchdowns over 74 games (41 starts). He has played for the Panthers (2004-06), Bills (2007) and Lions (2008). |
