Florham Park, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Jets defensive tackle Kris Jenkins was placed on injured reserve Monday after suffering a left knee injury during Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. Jenkins was injured late in the second quarter on a Fred Jackson run when teammate Shaun Ellis apparently fell on him while making a tackle. Jets head coach Rex Ryan told the team's website Jenkins injured his ACL. The nine-year veteran -- in his second season with New York -- had 13 tackles on the year and no sacks. He has 24 career sacks in 107 games with Carolina and the Jets, also recording 281 tackles.
