Green Bay, WI (My Sportsbook) - Detroit Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper left Sunday's 26-0 loss against the Green Bay Packers with a right hamstring injury. In the third quarter, Culpepper scrambled out to the right under pressure and began to take the ball up field, but he came up lame and limped out of bounds. He stayed under center for the next play, but following that Drew Stanton came on the field to take over quarterbacking duties. Culpepper was just 6-for-14 with 48 yards when he left the game while Stanton went 5-for-11 with 57 yards and two interceptions. He was making his second straight start for Detroit as Matthew Stafford sat out for a second straight game with a knee injury. Additionally, on the first play after Culpepper left, wide receiver Bryant Johnson was drilled on an incompletion and left the game. He was seeing more duties than normal as No. 1 receiver Calvin Johnson was inactive for the game with a thigh injury. |
