Wolfsburg, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Wolfsburg moved to within five points of the Bundesliga lead on Sunday as they recorded a 2-1 win over Monchengladbach at Volkswagen Arena. Alexander Madlung scored shortly before halftime to put the Wolves in front, and Christian Gentner added a second goal in stoppage time before the visitors grabbed a late consolation goal from American Michael Bradley. Wolfsburg is now fifth in the table and trails leaders Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg by five points after the two sides played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday, while Monchengladbach is second from the bottom and has lost its last five games. The hosts came within inches of taking the lead in the fourth minute when Edin Dzeko fired a shot off the crossbar, while the Bosnian was again denied by the woodwork on the half-hour mark when he nodded a ball off the post. The opener finally came right before the halftime whistle as Madlung headed home a corner kick, while Monchengladbach keeper Logan Bailly needed to make a good save on Zvjezdan Misimovic's free kick early in the second half. Gentner appeared to secure the points with his goal two minutes into stoppage time, but Bradley's first goal of the season immediately after pulled his team back to within one, although there wasn't any time left to make it interesting. Borussia Dortmund won for the second consecutive time after a six-game winless streak on Sunday as they got goals from Lucas Barrios and Neven Subotic in a 2-0 win over Bochum.
