Kansas City, KA (My Sportsbook) - Seattle Sounders FC became just the second team in Major League Soccer history to earn a playoff spot in their first year with a 3-2 win at the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday night. The Sounders scored the game's only first-half goal, a Tyrone Marshall effort in the 27th minute, before a flurry of goals after the interval. Kansas City scored two in a three minute span just after the break to take the 2-1 lead on goals by Zoltan Hercegfalvi and Josh Wolff, but Seattle eventually recovered. Sounders forward Roger Levesque tied it with a header in the 69th minute for his second goal of the season and second in as many games before Nate Jaqua tallied the winner in the 76th. The Sounders (11-7-11) will try to improve their seeding when they close out their regular season vs. Dallas on Saturday, while Kansas City (8-13-8) will play its final game of the season vs. D.C. United the same day.
