RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Edgerrin James is likely to enter the top 10 on the NFL's career rushing list this weekend. That matters far less to him than what he's already accomplished this week. Wednesday, the Seahawks running back surprised his daughter with a phone call into her classroom in Florida. James, who had arranged the call through her teacher, said with a huge grin that his girl ``was kind of caught off guard.'' Father and daughter set a lunch date at the school for next week, during Seattle's bye week. James' longtime girlfriend, the mother of his four children, died in April of leukemia at age 30. For the last couple seasons he has been flying back and forth to Florida to care for his kids while he's played on the opposite coast.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
