Hempstead, NY (My Sportsbook) -
New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bills due to a hamstring injury.
Cotchery, who injured his hamstring last Thursday in practice, was able to play Monday night against the Dolphins. However, he caught just one pass for four yards in that contest.
The sixth-year receiver didn't practice at all this week due to the injury.
"I know it's been reported that J-Co's (Cotchery) already out, but that's news to me," Jets head coach Rex Ryan said on the team's website after Friday's practice. "Do I expect him to play and all that? I'm not sure, but it's doubtful. I still would make that decision a gametime decision."
In five games this season, Cotchery has hauled in 24 passes for 360 yards and a score.
Wide receiver Brad Smith (quadriceps) is also listed as doubtful after missing the entire week of practice.
Right tackle Damien Woody (right foot) is listed as questionable after not practicing at all this week.
"It's not the first time that I've done something like this," Woody said on the team's website. "When you're physically not 100 percent, you have to work on your mental, make sure you're mentally prepared, and that's what I've been doing all week. I'm just doing my rehab and getting ready for the game on Sunday."
Defensive end Shaun Ellis (bruised knee) and cornerback Donald Strickland (ankle) are also questionable for Sunday. Cornerback Lito Sheppard (quadriceps) is probable and will likely play, according to Ryan.
