Zurich, Switzerland (My Sportsbook) - Brazil remained atop the FIFA rankings released Friday, followed again by Spain and the Netherlands. Italy remained in fourth, but Germany dropped out of a tie for fourth and fell into the fifth spot. Argentina, despite narrowly qualifying for the World Cup, moved up two spaces to sixth, followed by England, Croatia - which did not advance to next year's the World Cup in South Africa - France and Portugal. The United States remained 11th and is the top-ranked team from CONCACAF. Cameroon was the biggest gainer among the top 50, moving 15 spots to 13th and is the top-ranked African team. Scotland lost the most ground among teams in the top 50, falling 16 spots to 46th. The Czech Republic, ranked 15th, is the only other country in top 20 that has been eliminated from World Cup contention. The next FIFA rankings will be released on Nov. 20.
