CINCINNATI (AP) -The Bengals got a one-day extension to sell out their game on Sunday against the Houston Texans and avoid a local television blackout. More than 3,000 tickets remained for the game. The NFL gave the team until 1 p.m. on Friday to sell out and avoid having the game blacked out in local television markets. The Bengals (4-1) have sold out their last 46 games at Paul Brown Stadium. The last game that was blacked out locally was against the Texans on Nov. 9, 2003. Cincinnati also got a 24-hour extension before the season opener against Denver and managed to sell out in time to have the game shown locally.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press.
