Carson, CA (My Sportsbook) - Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham will rejoin AC Milan in January, the Italian club's vice president said Thursday. Beckham left L.A. last season to join AC Milan on a six-month loan, and will join the Italian giants again for another short spell starting in January. "David Beckham's return on loan in January is already a done deal," Adriano Galliani, Milan's vice president, told Sky Sport Italia. Beckham will miss the beginning of the MLS season next year - as he did this season - but will return to the Galaxy in July. Beckham, the former captain of England, wanted to return to AC Milan to boost his chances of playing for his country in next year's World Cup. New England boss Fabio Capello has used Beckham, but his spot on the World Cup team is far from certain. Beckham, a former Manchester United and Real Madrid player, impressed in his first stint with AC Milan and hopes another strong showing outside of MLS will prove to Capello that he should be with England in South Africa next year for the World Cup finals.
