Bolton, England (My Sportsbook) - Bolton has handed a short trial to former France midfielder Camel Meriem. The 29-year-old is a free agent after leaving Monaco at the end of last season, having played for Marseille, Bordeaux and Sochaux earlier on in his career. Trotters boss Gary Megson confirmed: "He's out of contract, so we'll just have a look because we're in a situation with what has happened with Sean Davis where we could do with another body in there if it can be done. "We're not saying we're going to do anything, but he'll come over, all being well and spend a few days training with us." Davis is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, having only joined Bolton at the start of the season from Portsmouth. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
