Portsmouth, England (My Sportsbook) - Portsmouth CEO Peter Storrie is hopeful his club will be able to keep loan midfielder Jamie O'Hara at Fratton Park for the rest of the season. The 23-year-old has joined Pompey from Spurs on an initial deal which runs out in January, but Storrie is upbeat about the prospects of an extension. "There has been nothing from Spurs that Jamie will be going back in January, nothing at all," he told The News. "As far as we are concerned, we have an option to keep Jamie until the end of the season. That can be taken up in January if he is enjoying himself. "He's happy at this club playing regular first-team football, which is the reason why the lad came here in the first place. "You can see what a fantastic player he is when he starts matches consistently. Jamie has been excellent for us. "He has been playing very, very well and obviously we would like to keep him until the end of the season. "Perhaps there would be a chance of doing something permanent, we will have to wait and see."
