Santa Clara, CA (My Sportsbook) - The San Francisco 49ers have indicated rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree will make his first appearance in the club's October 25th contest at Houston.

The 49ers have a bye this week and also expect to have the services of running back Frank Gore in Week 7. Gore has been sidelined with foot and ankle injuries for the past two-plus weeks.

Crabtree ended a tumultuous holdout last Wednesday, signing a six-year contract with the team that made him the 10th overall pick in April's draft. He was on the sideline in the team's 45-10 loss to Atlanta last Sunday but did not dress.

The Texas Tech product was initially offered a $20 million contract, with $16 million guaranteed, and signed a contract similar to that without the salary he would have received for the first four games of this season.

Crabtree posted 231 catches for 3,127 yards and 41 touchdowns during his two- year collegiate career, setting school and Big 12 receiving records in just 26 career games.

San Francisco, sitting at 3-2 on the year, currently ranks 30th in the NFL in passing offense.
