Baltimore, MD (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens signed wide receiver David Tyree on Tuesday and released tight end Tony Curtis. Tyree, whose amazing catch in Super Bowl XLII ranks as one of the indelible images in league history, was released by the Giants prior to the season. The 29-year-old, who toiled in relative obscurity before making the catch that helped New York stun the Patriots on Feb. 3, 2008, missed all of last season due to a knee injury. He was attempting to make the roster as a backup receiver and special-teamer this season, but fell victim to a numbers crunch at his position. In 73 career regular season games -- all with the Giants -- the Syracuse product has caught 54 balls for 650 yards and four touchdowns.
