Davie, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami Dolphins running back Patrick Cobbs is out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Head coach Tony Sparano said in his weekly press conference on Tuesday that the three-year veteran will be out for the remainder of the campaign as he was hurt on a carry in the fourth quarter of Monday night's 31-27 win over the New York Jets. An important contributor in the Wildcat formation, he had six carries for 36 yards along with three catches for 23 yards on the season. Also, he led the Dolphins this season on the return squad where he returned 16 kickoffs for 361 yards.
