Rome, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Lazio president Claudio Lotito has added fuel to the speculation linking Goran Pandev with a move away from the Olympic Stadium by suggesting the Macedonia international could be sold in January. The 26-year-old has not featured in the Lazio first team so far this season after seeking a transfer in the summer, a policy that led Lotito to brand Pandev "a rebel." The striker is currently taking legal action against the club as he attempts to terminate his contract and Lotito has now told Il Corriere dello Sport: "The matter of Pandev cannot be addressed right now, as the market is closed. "When the transfer window re-opens we will assess the situation and we will welcome solutions that satisfy us, the needs of the player and those who want to buy him." Pandev joined Lazio in 2004 and has gone on to score 53 goals in 168 appearances for the club. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
