Ashburn, VA (My Sportsbook) - Washington Redskins offensive tackle Chris Samuels is expected to miss at least one game because of a stinger he sustained in this past Sunday's game against Carolina. Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said Monday that Samuels was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam and added that the six-time Pro Bowl selection would sit out the upcoming contest against Kansas City. "He got some tingling and we're just checking this out," Zorn said. "He will not be available to play next week, just to quiet this thing down." Samuels was hurt in the first quarter of Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Panthers. Zorn also indicated that defensive end Phillip Daniels will continue to play despite a torn biceps he suffered on Sunday.
