London, England (My Sportsbook) - The Football Association has confirmed that it will be reporting Ukraine to FIFA after flares were thrown on to the pitch during England's 1-0 defeat in the Dnipro Stadium. Fans behind Robert Green's goal threw several lit flares into the penalty area soon after the game kicked off and the match was delayed for a couple of minutes. There was another delay after Andriy Shevchenko missed a penalty following Green's 16th-minute dismissal. "We've spoken with the FIFA delegate and we'll be submitting a report with regard to the missiles," said the FA's director of communications, Adrian Bevington. "We'll be following that up with a formal complaint. "It isn't acceptable for any player to come under attack from sustained missile-throwing and we'll be forwarding that to FIFA in the next week."
