Beijing, China (My Sportsbook) - Novak Djokovic of Serbia captured his third title of 2009 with a straight-set win over Croatia's Marin Cilic in the final of the China Open. The second-seeded Djokovic earned a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) victory Sunday for his 14th career singles crown. Djokovic, who dropped only one set en route to the title and a $500,000 first-place prize, has now taken all four meetings with Cilic. Cilic, the eighth-seed this week as a wild card entry, lost for the first time in four career final appearances. |
