Blantyre, Malawi (My Sportsbook) - Didier Drogba scored the match-tying goal just two minutes after entering as a substitute, leading Ivory Coast to a 1-1 draw at Malawi on Saturday that clinched a berth in next year's World Cup. Ivory Coast clinched first place in Group 5 in African qualifying, and joined Group 4 winner Ghana and host South Africa as African teams already through to the Cup from Africa. In Group 1, Geremi, Jean Makoun and Achille Emana scored as Cameroon remained in first with a 3-0 win over Togo, while Eric Mouloungui had the match-winner as Gabon beat Morocco 3-1 to remain one point behind in second. In Group 3, Hosni Abd Rabou scored to lead Egypt to a 1-0 win over Zambia and into a tie for first with Algeria, which plays Rwanda on Sunday. Also Sunday, Mozambique visits Nigeria and Kenya visits Tunisia Group 2, Ghana visits Benin and Sudan visits Mali in Group 4, and Burkina Faso visits Guinea in Group 5.
