Englewood, CO (My Sportsbook) - Denver Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter has been ruled out of Sunday's tilt against the Patriots while safety Brian Dawkins is listed as questionable for the bout. Buckhalter did not practice this week due to an ankle injury. The 31-year-old has racked up 267 rushing yards and one touchdown on 37 carries for the 4-0 Broncos. Dawkins, who has compiled 27 tackles in four games for Denver, missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with knee and shoulder issues but was a limited participant in Friday's session. In addition, linebacker Spencer Larsen will not play with a shoulder injury, while guard Ben Hamilton (hamstring) and cornerback Alphonso Smith (ankle) are listed as questionable after limited participation at practice this week. |
