East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley is expected to be sidelined for a month after undergoing knee surgery on Tuesday. Boley had an arthroscopic procedure performed to repair a partially torn meniscus in his right knee. Recovery time is approximately four weeks. The injury likely occurred during this past Sunday's game against Kansas City, although Boley did not miss a defensive snap and made five solo tackles with one sack. The knee apparently stiffened up on the plane ride home and he was further examined on Monday. Signed as a free agent in February after four years with Atlanta, Boley has played three games this season and is the team's third-leading tackler with 15 stops, including 13 solo. Boley missed the first game of the season while serving a suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Also on Tuesday, New York linebacker Bryan Kehl underwent surgery to repair a fractured left index finger. Kehl, who recovered a fumble on the first play of Sunday's triumph, is listed as week to week.
