London, England (My Sportsbook) - Goalkeeper Joe Hart and central defender Gary Cahill have been drafted into the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus. The duo have been called up by head coach Fabio Capello to take the places of injured pair Paul Robinson of Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott. Robinson has been forced to pull out due to a hip problem, while Lescott is being troubled by a calf injury. Hart, 22, is currently on a season-long loan with Birmingham City from Manchester City and has previously won one senior England cap. That came as a substitute in a 3-0 friendly win over Trinidad & Tobago in June 2008. Cahill has yet to feature for the senior England side, but has been backed for an international call by his manager at Bolton Wanderers, Gary Megson. He recently said: "I would be confident enough, with the knowledge I have of Gary, to chuck him in whatever the game. "Now England have qualified there is the opportunity to play Gary, but that's the manager's decision. "All Gary can do is keep playing well and hope the manager comes down on his side at some stage."
