Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Matt Kuchar leapt 42 places in the world rankings after beating Vaughn Taylor on the sixth playoff hole Monday to win the Turning Stone Resort Championship. Kuchar climbed from 98th place to 56th in the updated rankings. Simon Dyson, who won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the European Tour, moved up 48 spots to 44th in the rankings; while Japanese teenager Ryo Ishikawa climbed seven spots to 43rd with a win in his home country. Tiger Woods, of course, remained No. 1 and was again followed by Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Paul Casey as the top four positions went unchanged. Henrik Stenson moved up a spot to No. 5, dropping Kenny Perry down to No. 6, while Padraig Harrington, Sergio Garcia, Jim Furyk, Geoff Ogilvy and Lee Westwood remained in positions 7-11. Martin Kaymer was up one slot to 12th, knocking Stewart Cink to 13th, while Sean O'Hair, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas, Lucas Glover and Zach Johnson held steady at 14-18. Rory McIlroy tied for second place behind Dyson and climbed five places to 19th. Ian Poulter remained 20th and Retief Goosen fell two places to 21st.
