Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - ALABAMA: Mark Ingram ran for a career-high 140 yards with a pair of touchdowns and Greg McElroy threw for two scores, as Alabama took advantage of four Kentucky turnovers in a 38-20 victory over the Wildcats at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington on Saturday. McElroy completed 15-of-26 passes for 148 yards in the victory, as Alabama reached the 30-point plateau for the fifth time in as many games and remained unbeaten on the year at 5-0. The Tide rushed for 204 yards and outgained the Wildcats, 352-301. Also worthy of mention is that Alabama has won four straight meetings with Kentucky and leads the all-time series, 35-2-1. The Crimson Tide are slated to do battle with a solid Ole Miss squad this coming weekend.

ARKANSAS: Ryan Mallet threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns as the Razorbacks defeated the Texas A&M Aggies, 47-19, in a non-conference tussle at Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Saturday. Ronnie Wingo, Jr. led the ground game for Arkansas, as the tailback rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown in the win. Texas A&M actually scored the first 10 points of the contest, but the Razorback offense could not be stopped once they shook the rust off. The defense deserves credit for the win as well, as Jerry Franklin returned a fumble 85 yards for a score. Next up for Arkansas is a tough SEC clash with Auburn.

AUBURN: Ben Tate rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown to lead the Tigers to a hard-fought 26-22 victory over Tennessee in SEC action at Neyland Stadium this past weekend. Chris Todd also had a strong performance for Auburn, as the signal caller threw for 216 yards and one touchdown on 19-of-32 passing. The Tigers have now beaten the Vols five times in a row, the longest win streak for Auburn in the history of the series. In every game this season, the Auburn offense has racked up over 400 total yards, and while first-year head coach Gene Chizik has a defensive background, he and his staff have brought new life to the offense. The Tigers will attempt to remain unbeaten on the season when they play Arkansas this Saturday.

FLORIDA: The top-ranked Gators were idle this past weekend, and that was viewed as a blessing by most fans and analysts. Tim Tebow ran for two touchdowns and threw for another score before taking a big hit that forced him out of the team's most recent outing, a 41-7 romp over SEC foe Kentucky. Tebow guided a dynamic offense early that built a 31-point lead but took a nasty hit from defensive end Taylor Wyndham late in the third quarter that ended his game early. It remains to be seen if Tebow, who was released from the hospital with a concussion, will be ready to go this Saturday against LSU.

GEORGIA: It seemed that Georgia was going to upset LSU on Saturday in Baton Rouge, as A.J. Green hauled in the go-ahead touchdown reception with just over a minute to play. However, the Bulldogs' defense couldn't hold the narrow lead, surrendering a long touchdown run in the final minute to lead to a 20-13 setback. Green caught five balls for 99 yards. Joe Cox threw an interception in a last-gasp drive, finishing with two touchdowns and 229 yards on 18-of-34 passing for the Bulldogs, who had won three straight since a season-opening loss to Oklahoma State. Expect a physical game this weekend when the Bulldogs take on Tennessee.

KENTUCKY: The Wildcats were simply beaten by a better team on Saturday, as Alabama came to Lexington and posted a 38-20 victory over the home squad. Mike Hartline threw for 168 yards with a touchdown on 17-of-31 passing, but he was picked off three times for Kentucky, which played its second top-three opponent in as many weeks. The Wildcats dropped a 41-7 decision to No. 1 Florida in their previous outing. Derrick Locke ran for a team-best 75 yards on 20 carries against the Crimson Tide and was UK's leading receiver with six catches for 63 yards. The fact that Kentucky has only won twice in 38 all-time meetings with Alabama is staggering. The Wildcats take on South Carolina this Saturday.

LSU: Charles Scott rushed for two touchdowns in the final three minutes of Saturday's showdown with Georgia, the latter being a 33-yard score with 46 seconds left that gave LSU the dramatic 20-13 victory. Scott finished with 95 yards on 19 carries for LSU, while Jordan Jefferson threw for 212 yards with an interception on 18-of-27 efficiency in the win. The triumph halted a three- game skid against Georgia. Give the defense credit, as the Tigers allowed only one first down in the first half of play. This Saturday, the undefeated Tigers will attempt to knock off the top-ranked Florida Gators in the most anticipated game of the weekend.

MISSISSIPPI STATE: This past weekend, the Bulldogs lost a high-scoring affair to Georgia Tech, a non-conference foe, by a 42-31 final. Anthony Dixon gained 106 yards on 18 carries, but was responsible for two of the four lost fumbles for the Bulldogs. Tyson Lee also coughed up the ball and threw an interception, finishing with 278 yards and a touchdown pass to Chad Bumphis. The versatile Bumphis logged 123 yards on six catches and had a rushing score for MSU, which has dropped back-to-back games to ranked opponents, losing a heartbreaker to LSU the previous weekend. The Bulldogs will step outside of SEC play this Saturday to take on a high-powered Houston team.

OLE MISS: Jevan Snead completed 19-of-34 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns to lead Ole Miss over Vanderbilt, 23-7, in a battle between SEC foes on Saturday. Snead threw three interceptions, however, as he has yet to play up to the hype that accompanied him as this season began. Shay Hodge hauled in eight passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns for the Rebels, who were coming off a painful 16-10 defeat to South Carolina. Brandon Bolden rushed for 89 yards on 16 carries and also caught a TD pass for the victors. The Rebels face a stiff test this coming weekend, as the mighty Crimson Tide of Alabama are on the docket.

SOUTH CAROLINA: The Gamecocks improved to 4-1 with a 38-14 victory over South Carolina State this past weekend. Quarterback Steven Garcia was solid against the FCS opponent, throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for a third score. South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier improved to 38-0 against opponents not in the six conferences with Bowl Championship Series bids. Star linebacker Eric Norwood was outstanding again for Spurrier's team, as he intercepted a pass and blocked a field goal. Garcia finished 13-of-19 for 132 yards, modest numbers by most standards. The Gamecocks will take on Kentucky this Saturday in what figures to be a highly competitive conference affair.

TENNESSEE: The Vols play hard under first-year head coach Lane Kiffin, but the effort hasn't resulted in success. They fell to 2-3 on the season, including 0-2 in league play, with a 26-22 loss to Auburn in front of a disappointed home crown on Saturday. Jonathan Crompton threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns, while Montario Hardesty led the ground attack in the loss, rushing for 90 yards and a score. Tennessee fell behind 13-0 in the second quarter, and although the Vols fought back and made the game interesting, the offense simply wasn't able to do enough to knock off the Tigers. Kiffin and his Vols will do battle with Georgia this weekend.

VANDERBILT: A lack of offensive punch resulted in a 23-7 loss to Ole Miss this past weekend, dropping the Commodores to 2-3 overall, including 0-3 versus SEC competition. Larry Smith connected on 10-of-27 passes for 69 yards, a touchdown and a pick for Vanderbilt, which was coming off a 36-17 win over Rice last week. Udom Umoh caught three passes for 27 yards and a touchdown. Warren Norman rushed for 86 yards on 14 carries in defeat. Ole Miss outgained Vandy, 397-240, and the Rebels controlled the ball for more than 35 minutes. Next up for the Commodores is a non-conference clash with Army this Saturday.
