Champaign, IL (My Sportsbook) - The Illinois Fighting Illini will reportedly start redshirt junior Eddie McGee at quarterback Saturday against Michigan State, replacing Juice Williams. According to The Daily Illini, head coach Ron Zook made the announcement on his Monday morning radio show. Williams, who became the Illini's all-time leader in offensive yardage in the team's 35-17 loss to Penn State, has led Illinois to a dismal 1-3 record this season, including an 0-2 mark in the Big Ten. In the four games, Williams has just one touchdown pass. McGee has appeared in three games this season, completing 19-of-30 passes for 211 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He played in five games in 2008 and nine in 2007 for Illinois.
