Almelo, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Twente moved to the top of the Eredivisie table on Sunday with a 3-1 comeback win over Heracles at Polman Stadion. Everton gave the home side a surprising lead nine minutes into the game, but Bryan Ruiz had Twente back on level terms before halftime, and second-half goals from Blaise N'Kufo and Theo Janssen one minute apart were enough to move the visitors two points clear of PSV Eindhoven, which was held to a 0-0 draw by Utrecht on Sunday. Heracles made the most of its first chance of the match as Willy Overtoom's free kick found Everton at the back post for an easy finish and a 1-0 lead. However, the rest of the opening half was dominated by the visitors as they had Heracles defending desperately to keep its lead. The equalizer arrived in the 31st minute when Janssen found Ruiz with a cross that was hammered home past goalkeeper Martin Pieckenhagen, while Douglas Franco's header just missed giving Twente the lead at halftime. The first 10 minutes of the second half saw Twente take control of the match with a pair of rockets that flew past Pieckenhagen. N'Kufo was first to find the net as he beat a Heracles defender and lashed a long-range shot past the keeper, while Janssen added a third goal one minute later with a left-footed blast that left Pieckenhagen with no chance. Ajax moved into third place as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Roda despite two goals from Luis Suarez, while Feyenoord is fourth after their 3-0 win over RKC Waalwijk on Saturday. Sunday's other match saw Heerenveen claim a point at home against Venlo as Michal Papadopulos scored in stoppage time to help the hosts earn a 1-1 draw.
