Madrid, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini praised his side's patience after it secured a 3-0 Champions League win at home to Marseille. The home side had to wait until the second half to do the damage at the Bernabeu, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice, either side of a Kaka penalty. Pellegrini told the club's official website: "I think we played a balanced game throughout and that gave us the upper hand. I think our technique and tactics made a difference. "I would like to highlight my men's patience. Marseille played well in the first half and marked us efficiently, but players get tired as minutes go by. "We scored three clear goals and we came close to netting three or four more. We played 45 tight minutes, but we dominated in the latter 45." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
