Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Calgary wide receiver Jeremaine Copeland, Hamilton linebacker Otis Floyd, Saskatchewan kicker Luca Congi and British Columbia defensive end Ricky Foley were named the CFL Players of the Month for September. Copeland nabbed offensive honors, as he totaled four touchdowns on 18 receptions for 343 yards, helping the Stampeders post a 3-1 record in September. Floyd was given the defensive award for collecting 21 tackles and three sacks for the Tiger-Cats, who split four games in the month. Congi got special teams honors and was instrumental in the Roughriders having posted a 3-1 September record. He was nearly perfect, going 12-for-13 on field goal attempts while converting all 12 of his extra point attempts for a total of 48 points. Foley was named the Canadian Player of the Month for registering nine tackles and four sacks as the Lions went 2-2 in September.
